In September 2019 there was an article in the Marlborough Weekly about a local charity needing space to store pajamas and other items that were given out to children by Foster Hope. Richard Evans (Director at Smart Alliances) saw the article and wanted to help. Smart Alliances approached the charity about providing a storage shed. A proposal was put together and local businesses were approached to donate items and time to the cause. There were a few hurdles and challenges along the way and COVID in the middle of the project, but the shed has now been finished and is currently being transported to site
